This past two weeks we have been doing a google collaboration and code.org
My google collaboration was about a post apocalyptic world this is the story
As I walk through the remains of human civilization I see burning buildings and human skeletons and unknown life. I see a man coming out of a building. He has a rusty old helmet and a shiny machete dripping with the blood of the mutated monsters he’s killed.
“So your human too or…” he said. His voice was deep like a demon.
I start to reach for my knife.
“Yeah so what?”
“Nevermind I can tell your not crazy.”
“Who says I’m not?”
He doesn’t say anything, and continues to walk past me, leaving.
“Wait, who are you?” I say as he walks away.
He says nothing and continues to walk.
I run up to catch up with him, and he turns around and lunges with the machete and stops inches before my face. He says to me, “ It’s a dangerous place out here, better be careful so stop following me “. I hear a noise behind me and turn around, I see nothing so I turn back, the mysterious man is gone.
I’m walking as darkness closes in on what’s left of civilization.
“ I need to find some shelter “, I say to myself. I don’t want to be out in the city at night when those…things come out. I find the nearest building and jog inside, it’s an old broken down drug store. Before going in, I check all around the room with my flashlight, the light of it comes across two mutants standing upright, and… sleeping. I swiftly make my way to the mutants and take out my glowing knife, then that thing wakes up. I stab it in the back and then the other one wakes up, I use the body of the zombie to block the incoming bite of the other mutant. It bites into it, I use the bottom of my knife and hit it against its head, then finish it off. I then look around for a good place to sleep and find a corner with some blankets. I take them to the corner and put them down, the mutants aren’t smart enough to check buildings for survivors, so I should be fine. I lay down and grab a blanket then fall asleep.
I wake up to darkness, there is some sort of screeching coming from outside. I get up and take a look outside, it’s still dark but I can see, it’s a… car ? I thought all the cars didn’t work since civilization fell. Then there some sort of thing behind the car. I can’t tell what is. Suddenly the car was cut in half… Then I see it. “What the…?” It was the biggest mutant I had ever seen. It had not spotted me yet so i looked for a back door out of the drug store but there wasn’t one so I quietly tried to sneak out the front door. The huge monster screeched, as it turned around to face me, I dove inside the store. I didn’t dare to take a peek to see, so I waited for multiple minutes. I looked out… the thing was running toward me! I turn around started to run for my life. I ran down the street and that mutant was destroying everything it stepped on. Every step it took sounded like a gunshot. My heart beat was loud and my breath was heavy.
code.org is fun right now I am working on programming loops so that you can use less code to go through every objective. I have also worked on codeing art andcoding dancers.
