in game maker i did gml which i thought was fun but was probably more difficult than dnd. I mainly worked on asteroids and i started by watching the tutorials which wasn’t easy because you could barely make out what they where writing. So when i switched over to just reading the tutorial it was easier and you could read it and you could go full screen because with the videos needed to be half of the screen. i kind of liked it but i don’t think that it was the most fun thing that we have done.
in twine i am finishing up a story about how you must escape a camp ground with your friends while their are people trying to catch you or kill you and after you escape you have ended the story alive but you can also end it dead. while you are traveling through the story a few things i found out about writing in the twine format was that you can make the goal of your story be in many places at once and not just in one place. an example of my story is that your friends are in cabin and they are in cabin two and three so that the story can be longer and more interesting if you replay it.
I think that some possibilities with twine would be making a story that can double as a rpg so that as the person is in the story they can develop a character plot.
